In Coatepec down way near Tula was living a Coatlicue (The one with serpent skirt)
mother of the Centzon Huitznaoa and Coyolxauhqui.
While she was sweeping the temple a feather came to her, she kept it in her wonb.
In that moment she became pregnant.
Most statues of Coatlicue are a half woman/monster I wanted portrait the 3 gods of the story as human in this case she as a motherly woman (or not so <.<) I include the snakes on her shoulder and the skull on her belt symbol of the underworld and death as part of cicle of life as well the symbol of sacrifice: hearts and hands in her chest

Sabían ellos que su origen, su principio fue de esta manera:
En Coatépec, por el rumbo de Tula, había estado viviendo Coatlicue. Era madre de los Centzon Huitznaoa y de Coyolxauhqui.
Una vez, cuando barrías sobre ella bajó un plumaje Lo colocó en su seno Y en ese momento quedó embarazada
La mayoria de las representaciones de Coatlicue son mitad mujer/monstruo, yo quize dibujar a los 3 dioses de esta historia como humanos, en este caso, una mujer maternal (no tanto <.<) Inclui las serpientes en sus hombros y la calavera en su cinturon, simbolo de el inframundo y la muerte como parte del ciclo vital asi como las manos y los corazones en su pecho como simbolo de el sacrificio

lo que me gusta es que usaste las tramas adhesivas para los efectos y texturas. pero que decir de las sombras. me encanta como le da solides a los objetos y cuerpos. a simple vista se ve fue aplicada a mano pero sospecho que usaste la computadora. no tengo nada en contra de ella porque bien sabemos de los apuros que nos saca, pero cuando se aplica a mano es muy satisfactorio. en caso de haberse aplicado a mano el misterio para mi es saber si es de origen convencional o al estilo casero.
